Hey there! My name is Shawn and I am a Certified Flight Instructor serving the San Francisco Bay Area out of my home base of Livermore Municipal Airport (KLVK). Aviation and Teaching are both passions of mine, and I can’t wait to help you on your aviation journey.

My path is not the most traditionally. I discovered my joy of flying after having built and run several of my own businesses, the last being in the Semiconductor Industry. Once I got a taste of piloting, I knew this would be a part of my life forever.

While running my business I obtained my PPL, Instrument, Commercial, and CFI Ratings. I now enjoy the privilege of helping to train safe and proficient pilots. Unlike most CFI’s today, I’m not in a race to build hours and get to the airlines. I truly care about helping to shape the future aviators of the world, and I hope to do so for you!
